Identifying Books and Inserts

Log onto your account. Click on the "Claim Form" tab, then click on "Manage." You will then see a list of the books and Inserts you have already claimed. To check the digitization status of a book or Insert, click on the book’s title and you will be able to view details about the book and any of your Inserts in the book, including whether the book has been digitized. Click here to go directly to your Manage page.

  2. How can I claim large numbers of books at once?
Use the claiming template spreadsheet. To access the claiming template spreadsheet, log onto your account, go to "Find and Claim" under the "Claim Form" tab and select the option for uploading a file of books, or click here. (You cannot claim Inserts by uploading a spreadsheet.) For instructions regarding how to use the claiming template spreadsheet, please click here.

  3. If I am not sure whether my content appears as an Insert in a book, how can I find out?
Upload your content and digitized books will be searched to see if there are any matches between your content and the content in a digitized book. You may then be able to claim that content as an Insert. To upload content that may be an Insert and have digitized books searched for that content, log onto your account, go to "Find and Claim" under the "Claim Form" tab and select the option for uploading content, or click here.
